Drapers' Pyrgo Nursery

Welcome to Drapers'Pyrgo Nursery where everything we are goes into everything we do. Our vision is to engage, excite and enable all pupils and children’s learning is facilitated and enhanced through the adults, the environment and each other, giving them a secure foundation for full-time education and their career choices in the future.

Joining us at Drapers’ Pyrgo nursery can give your child the opportunity to become one of our Drapers’ Pyrgo Pupils by having priority place in Reception and then go on to have priority to attend Drapers' Academy and a conditional offer at Queen Mary's University.

At Drapers’ Pyrgo Nursery, we cater for children from 8.30 am to 3.15 pm, term time. We are a Nursery with free places for 3 and 4-year-olds. We have a Qualified Teacher employed in our setting and highly motivated, qualified Teaching Assistants, who encourage the children to learn through play. We allow children to grow and progress at their own pace. We ensure that each child is happy and feels valued and unique in our setting.

Our education provision will support every stage of learning in a safe and secure environment. We are proud that our children are critical thinkers and active learners who are using our spacious room purposefully. Drapers’ Pyrgo Nursery has a large garden, promoting independence and a growth mindset for all our learners.

We provide healthy snacks during the day, catering for all dietary needs. All our continuous provision areas are fully equipped with various learning opportunities. In operating a Key Person system, we ensure that every child has a special staff member to warm to which is particularly important during the settling in period.
