Welcome to Drapers’ Pyrgo Priory School Nursery

At Drapers’ Pyrgo Priory School, our nursery provides a nurturing and inspiring start to your child’s learning journey. Guided by our vision and values — “Everything we are goes into everything we do” and our commitment to “Be Keen, Be Kind, Be Considerate” — we create a warm, inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

Values

Our nursery is a place where curiosity is celebrated and every day brings new opportunities to discover, explore and grow. We believe that young children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful experiences, both indoors and outdoors.

A Warm and Welcoming Environment

From the moment you enter our nursery, you will feel the sense of care and community that defines our school. Our experienced and dedicated staff build strong, trusting relationships with each child, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and valued. We pride ourselves on working closely with families to support every child’s individual needs and development.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

We believe that learning outside the classroom is just as important as learning inside. Our large, well-equipped outdoor area offers endless opportunities for children to explore nature, develop their physical skills, and spark their imaginations. Whether they’re investigating mini-beasts, creating outdoor art, or building dens with friends, our children learn to work together, problem-solve, and care for the world around them.

Inspiring a Love of Learning

Our curriculum is designed to foster independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. We encourage children to be keen in their curiosity, kind in their relationships, and considerate in their actions - values that form the foundation for their future education and personal growth.

At Drapers’ Pyrgo Priory Nursery, every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. We are proud to provide a joyful first step into education, where children can thrive and develop a true love for learning.

We kindly ask that children arrive at 8:30am to give them time to settle in, complete registration, and enjoy a piece of fruit before starting their learning and play at 9:00am as this gentle start helps children feel calm, confident, and ready for a wonderful day of exploration and discovery.

Children receiving 30 hours funding will have lunch with the class teacher in the main school hall at 11.45am. Children can bring in a packed lunch or order a hot meal at registration. Please see above for information on menu’s and prices.
