Pyrgo Priory Football Academy (PPFA)

In 2026, the school proudly launched the Pyrgo Priory Football Academy (PPFA), a highly successful initiative led by the school's Sports Coach, Mr Bradley Chapman.

As part of its inaugural year, the PPFA hosted its first football tournament, welcoming local schools to compete for the trophy. The event proved to be a tremendous success, giving young players the opportunity to showcase their talent, enjoy competitive sport, and build new friendships within the local community.

Football training sessions take place every morning from Monday to Thursday, providing pupils with regular opportunities to develop their skills. This consistent programme has already had a significant impact, with pupils showing impressive improvements in their football ability, teamwork, confidence, and overall performance on the pitch. Their dedication and enthusiasm have been exceptional.

The PPFA has also benefited from the generous sponsorship of brand-new football kits. We are incredibly grateful for this support, which has enabled our pupils to represent Drapers' Pyrgo Priory with pride while wearing high-quality kits that reflect the PPFA's ambition and professionalism.

Looking to the future, the school remains committed to developing the PPFA and expanding its annual tournament. By welcoming even more schools to participate, Drapers' Pyrgo Priory School aims to create further opportunities for young people to develop their football skills, build confidence, form lasting friendships, and create unforgettable memories through sport.
