Launch of Pyrgo Priory Football Academy

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Pyrgo Priory Football Academy (PPFA). 

Under the dedicated leadership of Mr Chapman, our Pyrgo Priory Football Coach, pupils have been training hard and showing fantastic commitment. Mr Chapman has been running football training sessions every morning from Monday to Thursday, in addition to leading high-quality coaching during PE lessons. The consistent training schedule has already made a noticeable difference, with pupils demonstrating impressive progress in their skills, teamwork and confidence on the pitch. Their dedication and enthusiasm have been outstanding, and we are proud to say that they are match ready.

Adding to the excitement, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our brand-new football kits in the coming weeks. These high-quality kits have been generously sponsored, and we are incredibly grateful for the support that has made this possible. The sponsorship has enabled us to provide our pupils with kits they can wear with pride as they represent Pyrgo Priory.

A major highlight of the term will take place on Monday 23rd March, when we host our very first PPFA Tournament. This inaugural event marks the beginning of what we hope will become a much-anticipated annual competition. We are thrilled to be welcoming five schools to take part and look forward to a day of competitive football, sportsmanship and community spirit.

As we look ahead, our ambition is to grow the tournament in the years to come, creating even more opportunities for our pupils to compete, develop their skills and build lasting memories through sport.
